“ It's at the corner of Jefferson and La Cienega, in a plaza that's not the easiest to get in and out of without planning for an extra block's drive and a possible u-turn somewhere. I pulled out my Yelp app and found the closest place on this rainy day and landed on Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken. There isn't inside seating, so it's to-go only. Perfect. I had planned to eat in the office kitchen anyway. Located in the far corner of the plaza behind Carl's Jr, the store has bars in the door and window. If it weren't for Yelp, I might've hesitated to venture in. I'm glad I did. A nice woman took my order after I spent about 10 minutes trying to understand the menu. There's A LOT of stuff on the main menu and specials on cards hanging inside the establishment. It overwhelmed me a bit. I figured just go with whatever the main combo is. Three-piece chicken, side of fries, and a small drink. It says everything there is spicy, so be warned. The chicken was piping hot, juicy, flavorful, and had a great crust. Wing, drumstick, and thigh--all good. She made the fries to order, so they were crispy and hot. It's coated with spicy seasoned salt, so that was good too. With a soda, it came to under $10. What a deal. Will definitely go back! ”

“ If you don't like spice, this is not the LFC for you. The chicken here is real spicy. Spicer than any of the other LFC's I have tried. The chicken is usually pretty good for the price. Nothing to go crazy over, just a solid fried chicken. They are always late opening. Sometimes they don't get there until 1pm. So beware. Also, they always are frying the french fries, so there is a wait. If you order anything other than the chicken pieces, like nuggets, tenders, fries etc... you will have to wait, they fry them up after you order. Call in your order if you don't want to wait. Also, now they take credit cards but charge .85¢ to use it. ”
